Description:

The new Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment combined the functions of the former Ministry of Economic Development, Ministry of Science and Innovation, Department of Labour and the Department of Building and Housing.

The new Ministry was seen as assisting the Government to forward its Business Growth Agenda and to make it easier for businesses to engage with the Government.
