This movie is about a girl or princess kind a she lives on a island but longs to be in the ocean but he dad does not let he and she goes on a big adventure to save everyone after her grandma dies she goes on the mission with maui the guy who did the bad thing but changed i think this is important to the united states of america history because its about a girl who is just following a prince she is trying to save her people instead.
