1) INC taken over by Gandhi

Events:
1) Visit of Prince of Wales supported by Parsis, christians & LL led to violence <> them
2) Gandhi feared Rowlatt repetetion, so CDM only in Bardoli not All India.
3) Chauri Chaura led to withdrawal of NCM + suspended CDM in bardoli

Impact:
1) MG realised training in NV
2) Strengthened INC in NWFP
3) WC participation
4) Revolutionaries + Peasants + Tribals joined NCM
5) Imports 1/2 ed
6) Boycott of Council- 5% vote
7) H-M-SIKH unity
