The flu pandemic was the most severe pandemic in history. It spread worldwide in 1918-1919 with 500 million people were infected or in other words It was one third of the world. In America 675000 people got it. There's not even a vaccine for it.But things that can help get rid of it is personal hygiene, use disinfectants, and limitations of public gatherings. It brought a lot of people down and apart. At this time people were scared and depressed they were hoping that they will get it over with soon. They locked a lot of things down and they had inflation. A lot of families ran out of money.Mortality was high in people younger than 5 years old, 20-40 years old, and 65 years and older. The high mortality in healthy people, including those in the 20-40 year age group, was a unique feature of this scary pandemic.
