20 juill. 1969 - First Man on the Moon

Description:

This was one of the most monumental days in US history. This was the day that we landed a man(or men) on the moon. NASA launched Apollo 11 into space with three men/astronauts inside: Buzz Aldrin, Neil Armstrong, and Micheal Collins. Though Armstong is usually the one we think of, both he and Aldrin land on the moon, Collins stays back and orbits around the moon. While he was orbiting he took lots of pictures and did some experiments. Then it happened, Neil Armstrong took the first-ever step on the moon and spoke these very recognizable words: "That's one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind." They placed an American flag and a sign. Then Armstrong and Aldrin then proceeded to spend three hours on the moon walking around, doing experiments, and collecting rocks and dirt. Finally, they rejoined Collins and took a safe trip back to Earth.
