Battle that took place near the city of Antioch on the Meander and was fought between the Empire of Nicaea, under Theodore I Laskaris, and the Seljuk Sultanate of Rum, under Kaykhusraw I. Resulted in a victory for the Nicaeans and a major defeat for the Seljuks, who sustained heavy losses and whose sultan was killed during the battle.
