Description:

1950年，因在1949年为吉村公三郎编写的《森之石松》票房失利，被高层批评“新藤的剧本社会性强，过分阴暗”。为了贯彻自己的创作路，新藤兼人从松竹公司辞职，与吉村公三郎及殿山泰司创立了独立制片组织“近代映画协会”。
