Description:

George Creel and the Committee on Public Information (newly created). Creel was head of it. The American public was not ready for war, bc they were told for years that neutrality was best. The committee was meant to sway public towards war through propaganda.

This committee employed 4 minute men- 75000 workers were hired to memorize a 4 minute patriotic speech and then go door to door around the country to give said speech. Speech would glorify Wilson and demonize Germany.
