Description:

The Paris Peace Accords was the agreement between North Vietnam, South Vietnam, the Viet Cong, and the United States to end the war and restore peace in Vietnam. The agreement established a ceasefire, a 60 day time period for U.S. troops to leave Vietnam, and for U.S. Prisoners of war to be returned. It also was agreed that the 17th parallel would remain a demilitarized zone between North and South Vietnam.
