Description:
At the Fiestas de las Rosas parade, which aimed to celebrate the bicentennial of the “founding” of California by the Spanish in 1769. Chicanx activists decided to peacefully protest the parade. Three hundred policemen along with helicopters were at the parade in anticipation of the protest.
