Description:

In Around ~3000 BC the Longshan culture emerged in much of modern day China. A great warlord of this culture, Yu the Great would go on to form the first true Chinese Dynasty.

The Longshan culture is known for its advanced pottery-making techniques, including the production of distinctive black pottery with intricate designs. They were also skilled in bronze metallurgy, as well as agriculture and animal husbandry. The people of this culture lived in large settlements, with well-organized social systems and complex religious beliefs.

The Longshan culture was a significant development in the history of Chinese civilization, marking the transition from the early Neolithic cultures to the more complex societies of the late Neolithic. It also represents a period of significant cultural exchange and interaction between different regions of China, as well as with neighboring regions in Asia.
