Description:

Lenin was smuggled back into Russia by the Germans after being driven out. The Germans thought that if Lenin started a revolution, Russia would be politically weak for Germany to take over. Lenin’s return layed way for the Communist party to take over.
-This event caused the Russian Revolution because Lenin was a prominent figure in leading the Revolution. His return started the set in action the actual revolution against the government.
