Description:

In 1924, Lenin died after suffering a stroke 2 years before. This caused a problem for the communist party for which person was going to take over.
This event was a cause of the Russian Revolution because there was a power gap that needed to be filled in the leader position. Joseph Stalin was able to come out on top and continued the harsh treatment of the Russian people. This fueld the hatred for the Russian Government by the Ruissan people which made them revolt.
