Credit Market Freeze
Description:
The credit market froze in September when banks withdrew $160 billion from safe “money market accounts“. This hoarding of money caused the price to raise on over $360 trillion in loans and credit card assets. This freeze in the market led to a cash shortage for many businesses, including lots of auto companies.
