Known as BTS or Bulletproof Boyscouts (in English, 'Beyond the Soul') debuted under BigHit Entertainment with 'No More Dream'. The group came from an extremely poor company with another group, GLAM, that became embroiled in controversy until their disbandment in 2015.
Winning multiple rookie awards, the group found somewhat moderate success until their first Daesang win in 2016 with Album of the Year for "The Most Beautiful Moment in Life: Young Forever" and their first major global tour for the album "Wings." In the following year, BTS made history by being the first to win at the Billboard Music Awards (BBMAS) and later at the American Music Awards.
