After WWII, the U.S. makes exceptions for doctors, scientists, engineers, and others with profession skills which increases Arab immigration to the U.S. Many of these immigrants came from Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, Jordan, Egypt, and Iraq. This immigration marks the beginning of what is known as the “brain-drain.”
