5 oct. 1789 - Women's March On Versailles
Description:
The Women's March On Versailles, also known as October Day, was the day that many Parisian women marched on Versailles and demanded change and reform. They broke into the palace and forced King Louis XVI to come back to Paris with them as their prisoner. This event was historically important because it acted as one of the steps towards removing the absolute monarchy from France, as well as motivation for the future.
