16 mars 1935 - Despite its prohibition by Treaty of Versailles, there is a renewal of conscription into the Wehrmacht (Germany army) in a law stating that only Germans of 'Aryan' descent may enlist in the Wehrmacht. Jews are dismissed from the German armed forces.
