Centuries of rule and a political faction has risen known as the Alisbrae. They grow tired of Rouge's immortal rule and believe in order for Ecruteak to grow they need a system to choose a Vhogun.

Growing tired of ruling he accepts their pleas and imbues his crown with void energy. Those who seek to rule must fight to the death with other contenders in the black dome. No one can leave or enter until 1 man is left standing. The dome acts like a temporary gateway to the void so all dark energy is intensified 10 fold.

After the fight is over the leader of the Alisbrae wins. Rouge leaves without saying goodbye to his people. He's jaded and wants to find his purpose in life. He starts to wander across the galaxy.
