Description:

The Seven Year War had two main sides, one led by the Kingdom of the British Empire and the other by the French Empire. Both side were supported by other several countries in Europe. Even though the British won the war, the war was very costly. It ended with the Treaty of Paris, which is also known as The Treaty of 1763. Both sides restored some colonies to each other. The British then heavily taxed the colonies because the colonies gained a lot during the war and the British needed money. This then led to the intolerable acts and the revolution.
