Declaration of Independence is a statement from the America people during the meeting at Pennsylvania State House in Philadelphia on July 4th. They announced themselves, which was during the American Revolution, that all thirteen colonies are free and independent from the British rule, also forming a new nation called the United States of America.

Declaring Independence during the war highly boosts people’s confidence and perseverance, which then led to winning the war. Also both John Adams and Thomas Jefferson was highly involved in forming independence and drafting the declaration, which builds up the importance of the election afterwards.
