Clara has been wanting to start a union and finally did something to try to start one. Clara has gotten much better at speaking English. So she walked the streets and asked if anyone would join her union she would be petitioning. Clara had continuously been asking the garment union headquarters to be involved so she can fight for women's rights. The male leadership at the union has finally gave in after all of the pushing Clara had to do. Clara thought told herself that she needed to be taken seriously. Clara needed more girls to come with her so she went to the worst city shops to get some girls out of it. She started to realize that her "fight" has just been the start of a "war".
