Description:
President Roosevelt met with Churchill to figure out a plan of peace. He convinced FDR to postpone starting up the Western Front of the war. They agreed that only surrender from the Axis will end the war and that they will bomb Germany from the sky. They charged into Italy and took over causing them to leave the war. The significance of this event is that it ultimitly decided what actions the Allies were going to take to win the war.
