1 nov 1667 - Removal of Clarendon
Description:
clarendon originally found his place (as principal adviser) as Charles most trusted adviser from Charles's time in exile from the crown
Charles and Claredon's relationship was always tough as Charles did not like Clarendon and he would show this. Charles believed that Clarendon undermined the new power that had been brought upon him.
as Clarendon commonly found alternatives to Charles's orders. saw as perfect counterpoints.
so Charles forced Clarendon to resign and bring himself to self-exile in France.
and what was to come of this would be the making of the CABAL which was the clever role of principal adviser to Charles but just split in 5 ways so Charles also could pick the one that agree with his original point so this method gave Charles more power within this time period
Clarendon advisor role would last him till
1660-1667
