the king restoration was not as easy as it sounds as there was some resistance to the ease of the new king Charles II position
Formed by Thomas Venner a deeply religious man being a fifth monarch himself. the Venner rising lasted 4 day into total before it was shut down by the royalist (the king arm)
Starting on the 6th of January 1661 50 armed men broke into saint Paul’s cathedral demanding Charles to be shot and killed as they wanted just Jesus to be on the throne no one else they thought the new King Charles would not be a good enough representation of gods child
