Description:

Hancock played a role in getting naval forces organized by organizing ships with Washington that could be used by the colonists in the war. This was not too hard for him because he lived in New England and there were a lot of trading docks for ships. Because of this ship was all around and with his money and influence people were willing to trust the cause his name was attached to. He got cargo and trading ship but they did not have ships built for naval defenses, they used normal ships.
