Description:

American and French forces, land and sea, trapped the British army on a piece of land surrounded by water on three sides at Yorktown, Virginia. This tactic forced the British army to surrender and garmented the American their independence from Great Britain. The American army was lead by George Washington and a few other commanders with 4000 french troops and 2500 Washington's troops.
