By the 1990s women and feminism had began to include multiple different types of people. LGBTQ+ and transgender women were now include in the movement and intersectionality for women of different races had begun to be more noticed and recognized.
Women had already started to reject beauty but that really became a point of note for this feminist movement. The image of the perfect woman with her daily clean outfit and full face of makeup was starting to go away and women were challenging those expectations.
