This panel, created with tempera, was originally commissioned to Lorenzo Monaco for the Strozzi Chapel. Monaco died in 1425 before he could complete it, and Fra Angelico took on the position. This is the dramartic and emotional scene of Christ being lifted from the cross.Ajouté au bande de temps:
