Description:

-on International Womens day
- started with women in textile factories protesting for more bread
- others joined by the afternoon upto 100k
- some were armed
-everybody joined including the middle class
-symbol of the old system of political oppression was crumbling
-in petrograd
-soldiers began to mutiny - they are teenagers from the working class
-one place mutinies and asks everyone else to mutiny too
-more and more violence
-sunday 26th many people got shot over 50 dead
-nicholas abdicated after being practially lost complete suppourt
