Description:

With Roman rule conquering the Trojan settlers of the region, much of the Trojan bloodlines have been reduced at this time. With the Trinovantes having largely lost their autonomy under the Romans as a client Kingdom, they attempt to retake power in the early years of King Lear's rule, rallying a few of the Giants who still remain in the region against their post-Roman rulers.

Lear comes to terms with the Brutons of the resurgent Trinovante Kingdom with the help of Saxon mercenaries paid for with old Roman gold. Conquering their territory relatively peacefully, the heir to the tribe Dubnovellaunus - a capable sorceror - is granted the fief of Glevum, which would become known as Gloucestershire. In time, the line of Brutus would die in East-Anglia and be found only in Gloucestershire.
