Description:
Napoleon's forces arrive in Saint-Domingue on the 2nd of February 1802 and order a meeting with Toussaint and his Lieutenant, Jean -Jacques Dessalines. Because Toussaint and Dessalines never attended the meeting, they were deemed outlaws by the French on the 17th of February 1802.Below is a painting of King Napoleon from 1814.
