Description:
Toussaint joins the French forces. He then led an ambush on the Spanish on the 6th of May 1794. The Spanish left shortly after the ambush as many of their forces were lost.Toussaint's joining the French was a result of the Spanish failing to make any progress towards the freedom of slaves.
