1 janv. 1346 - Italian merchants in Kaffa could have brought the plague back to the country with them.

Description:

After the Mongols catapulted plague victims into the trade city of Kaffa, it is very possible that the Italian merchants residing in Crimea and Kaffa brought the deadly disease home with them. This is the preferred theory of many historians who do not believe that the Yersinia pestis are the culprit for the spread of the plague.
