Description:
The Montreal Protocol is a treaty that was designed to phase out the use of ozone depleting gases, mainly CFCs (chloroflourocarbons), a gas commonly used in aerosols that broke down in the atmosphere, which would cause the chlorine atoms to bond to ozone molecules, creating the antarctic ozone hole.
