Description:

The Puritans wanted to leave England because they wanted religious freedom. Puritans were sent to death or punish for participating their own religious beliefs. The migrated to American because they wanted to be in a place were the King didn't control what they did. This is significant because a large group of people migrated to a land the had no knowledge of.
