1 janv. 1692 - Salem Witch Trials
Description:
The Salem Witch trials were a series of events in which many died because they were accused of committing witchcraft. Which, in a theocratic government, went against God and meant you were with the Devil. This significance of this event shows the arrogance of leaders in Salem and also the ways in which a theocratic government wasn't the best. Anyone could accuse anyone of witchcraft and that person would be hang without question.
