Description:
After General Burgoyne's recapture of fort Ticonderoga, on the way to Albany, he stayed there long enough for the Americans to regroup and take down troops in Vermont wounding/capturing more than 1,000 Brits. Then in Saratoga, the Americans surrounded Burgoyne and his men leading to their surrender.
