Description:

This battle was also known as the Battle of Quaker Hill. The Continental Army had been surrounding the British and trying to force them away, but as they were moving north, the British attacked, and the battle ended inconclusively. This battle was the first try of French and American forces working together. However, shortly before the cooperation was to begin, a storm destryoed French fleets. The Continental Army was led by Major General John Sullivan.
