Description:

Contact with SCP-998 is made for almost 27 minutes. During this time, SCP Foundation personnel give several instructions to the crew of SCP-998 and multiple SCP Foundation search aircraft are deployed in an attempt to locate the source of the signal. Communications during this time indicate that the craft is still lost in heavy fog despite the complete absence of adverse weather in the region, and that the crew cannot see the sun or anything that could give them reference. SCP Foundation assets are unable to establish visual contact with the source, and eventually contact is lost shortly after the crew of SCP-998 indicate that they see something in the fog.
