5 mars 1770 - Boston Massacre
Description:
The Boston Massacre was a huge event that triggered the colonists to take action against the British. After many different Acts were established then repealed, the colonists grew restless and their anger for the British was hot as ever. Protests and boycotts were arranged and the British had no choice but to arrange soldiers into the homes of the colonists. On March 5, 1770, British soldiers stationed in Boston misunderstood an order made by their captain and fired shots into a mob of colonists. This resulted in five dead. After the massacre, colonial leaders used the Boston Massacre as an anti-British propaganda and the patriots started having more order among themselves.
