Description:
- John Dalton was born in Eaglesfeild, UK- Dalton theorized that all particles were combined in set ratios that could not be altered. He proved this by combining oxygen with nitric acid and placing them in a container with water and leaving it covered. He would uncover that particles themselves had set ratios, but after being combined, that ratio would not be the same any more.
