6 mars 1938 - The Z1 - First "Computer"

Description:

The first known technology that was similar to a “computer” to have been brought into the world was a programmable computer called the “Z1” which was made by Konrad Zuse from Germany. It’s known as the first “computer” because it had many of its main foundations including control unit, memory and input & output devices etc. It was designed in 1935 - 1936 and was fully completed in 1938, it was later destroyed in 1943 during WW2, however another creation by the same inventor known as Z4 had survived. This discovery laid the basics for the “first computer” which later happened in 1946 (this is the year it finished).
