Description:

Savoy attacked and invaded the Austrians but it was unsuccessful.
Mazzini coordinated revolts all around Italy trying to lead to a democratic, unified Italy. Elites did not like him because he was trying to give power to the masses. He was able to take Rome at one point but ended up failing and going into hiding.
