June first was a disappointing and exciting day for some people. This was the day that smoking was banned from public places in the United Kingdom. The aim for the ban was to decrease the amount of smokers in the UK- that is exactly what it did. Today, the number of smokers have decreased by 1.9 million since the ban was created.
