Description:
Sergeant William Jasper (SC 2nd Regiment) and a detachment of Georgia Continentals went up the Savannah River hoping to surprise a British picket post. The Continentals captured seven Loyalists from Georgia on a patrol, and recovered twelve stolen slaves. They sent the prisoners to Charles Town.
