Early in 1782, Loyalist Militia Lt Col John Mayfield sent his family to the safety of Charles Town with the British. He stayed to protect his farm and store, Between Feb and April, 1782 Mayfield was murdered in his home by several Whigs digused as British soldiers.Ajouté au bande de temps:
