5 févr. 1781 - Skirmish at Wando Landing (Cainhoy)

Description:

Brigadier General Francis Marion with a party of mounted militiamen left the Pee Dee region to head to the Dorchester area. On their way, they destroyed a large quantity of enemy stores and provisions and damaged their quarters at Wando Landing, about 15 miles from Charles Town. Brigadier General Marion also captured 30 prisoners, including officers, before continuing towards Dorchester.
