Description:

British Maj James Wemyss was ordered by Lord Cornwallis to sweep the area from Kingstree bridge to the Pee Dee River to suppress Patriots. Wemyss burned the home of Jordan Gibson for supplying beef and other food to the Continentals and Patriot militia.
