Description:

Lt Col Francis Marion moved his force of 52 men to engage Loyalist Maj Micajah Ganey's 200 man force who was marching on Marion's camp. Marion engaged Ganey's advnace, a partry of 45 men killing all but 15 who escaped. The following day, Marion learned the Maj Ganey's Loyalist force dispersed.
